Lynn Dohm — CEO
It’s that rare moment when passion, purpose and career align — and for me, that’s leading change in the cybersecurity workforce. For over 20 years, I’ve been a strategist and nonprofit leader helping organizations grow, scale, and build lasting impact. My work has spanned nonprofits, for-profits and multimillion-dollar funded initiatives always with the same focus: aligning strategy with outcomes, building high-performing teams and turning vision into measurable results. My approach has always been collaborative: I seek partners, investors and funders who share a vision of equitable access, workforce readiness and measurable impact. ✅ Together, we solve problems that never existed before. ✅ Together, we build stronger, more sustainable organizations. ✅ Together, we open doors to opportunity. As Executive Director of WiCyS I’ve guided organizational growth from grassroots to international impact, growing membership fivefold, expanding reach to 100+ countries, and diversifying revenue beyond $5M annually. Alongside this, I’ve served as President & CEO of Nelly Group, advising nonprofits and industry leaders on strategy, marketing and communications to drive visibility and growth. I’m honored to have been recognized with awards such as SANS Difference Makers, CS Hub’s Top 25 Cybersecurity Leaders, Team8’s Cyber25 Women of Impact, and an honorary doctorate from Champlain College, acknowledgments that reflect not just personal achievement but the collective progress of the communities I serve. I’m passionate about board governance and I’m proud to serve as a board member for the Alan Paller Laureate Program (Center for Internet Security) and CIT advisory board member at University of Maryland Global Campus. I value stakeholder engagement and building ecosystems where talent, employers and communities thrive. I regularly speak on workforce development, leadership and skills-based/merit-based advancement — topics at the intersection of innovation, people and impact. At my core, I’m a builder of communities, strategies and opportunities — always working toward sustainable growth and meaningful change.
