• Conversion: Owning the core sign-up flow – driving higher submission-rate and leveling up UX quality, while satisfying complex risk and compliance requirements. Also improving our partner onboarding API.

• Ultimately shut down as we didn't reach product market fit. Had a lot of fun, suffered even more, and learned one or two things along the way.

• Acquired by Planview.
• Enterprise SaaS startup helping large organizations release software more predictably.
• Reported to the CEO and drove strategy and execution of key initiatives through a growth phase of more than doubling team size and revenue.
• Made a lot of mistakes and learned from all the chaos to become better. Realized how different the inner workings of startups are compared to what you see on the investor side.

• BOD Observer representing Macquarie after we invested US$13.4m @ Series A.
• Different to typical BOD Observer role - I was fairly involved on a day-to-day basis in all aspects of the company, focusing on ops, marketing, sales and finance.
• First intro to realizing that the world is not spreadsheets, and that companies are actually just groups of people.
