• As part of my academic training and passion for accessible mental health care, I conducted pro bono individual counseling sessions under supervision, fulfilling academic requirements while gaining hands-on experience. My work primarily focused on supporting emerging adults through challenges related to anxiety, interpersonal and personal conflicts, emotional regulation, self-exploration, body image concerns, and career confusion, Time management. I conducted intake interviews, case history taking, and needs assessments, employing evidence-based approaches including CBT, SFBT, Narrative Therapy, and REBT, alongside empathy, active listening, and supportive counseling techniques. I guided clients in developing healthy communication, assertiveness, conflict management, and emotional intelligence skills, while maintaining ethical practice through confidentiality, documentation, and regular supervision review. Through relaxation and grounding techniques, I helped clients improve coping with stress and anxiety, fostering a safe and empathetic environment that encouraged self-awareness, resilience, and open emotional expression.
