• I am honored to begin serving as CEO of Optum with approximately 300k Optum teammates. We are dedicated to delivering care and services to over 130 million people. These services include care delivery by many thousands of dedicated physicians and other clinicians. We also provide pharmacy services serving over 62 million people with over 1.6 billion prescriptions striving to get the right medicine to the right patient at the right time, affordably. We also provide support to health systems and data and technology services to payers and employers. At Optum, we are dedicated to helping make the health system better for everyone. That is my personal mission and the mission of our team.
