I am a lead software engineer with 20+ experience in the industry of building applications and software systems across backend, infrastructure, databases and desktop. In the recent years, I have been focusing on turning ideas and POCs that "work on my machine" into resilient production-ready, observable, continuously deployed, high available systems. My key areas of expertise include: - Cloud infrastructure (AWS); - Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform); - CI/CD design and deployment automation in multi-stage environments (GitHub, BitBucket, Docker, SSM); - Observability and monitoring strategy (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana); logging hygiene and metric collection; - Incident reduction and operational clarity; - Reducing operational risk through automation. I am particularly interested in systems where reliability directly impacts revenue and user trust. I value pragmatic, no-drama engineering over buzzwords. I also have a decent grasp of modern software architecture, storage, databases, system design. Also, being a software engineer by profession and personal calling, I have a good command of several programming languages: Golang, Python, C++, PHP.
