I am an HR professional, Gallup-certified Strengths coach, and Montessori parent. With over a decade in HR, I have built deep expertise in areas across Performance Management, Rewards, Manager Coaching, Employee Relations, Talent Management, and Organization Change Management. I am currently leading HR for GitHub APAC with the purpose of enabling employees and developers to do the best work of their lives at GitHub. Previously I was part of the mighty Microsoft HR team, leading the people processes charter, with a focus on building manager capability at scale, and consulting managers and employees on areas across the HR value chain. I also led the Rewards and Retention program for India and played a key role in enabling a transformed HR engagement model at Microsoft India Development Centre. Prior to that, I worked as a management consultant at IBM in their ‘Talent & Engagement’ practice, advising leadership teams across multiple industries in the areas of Organization Design, Change Management and HR transformation, and as HR manager to the Group Manufacturing Services at Reliance Industries Limited. I hold an MBA in HR from Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Pune and a Bachelors degree in Electronics engineering. I consider myself a learn it all, always up for exploring something new. When not at work, I enjoy reading and travelling, esp. trekking in the mountains, and currently have my hands full with an active toddler who shares my love for the outdoors. Though not very regular, I also find comfort in writing!
