I started with ZillOut because it’s a problem I couldn’t ignore. India’s going-out economy was expanding fast, but the infrastructure underneath it was fragmented. Venues depended heavily on aggregators for discovery, bookings, and customer access, which meant they didn’t truly own their demand. Distribution sat outside their control. That imbalance was the original thesis. I first came in as an angel investor because I believed this space needed a structural reset, not incremental improvement. Over time, working closely with the problem and the early team changed how I looked at it. What started as an investment slowly turned into conviction, not just in the space but in the way ZillOut was being built. Eventually, I stepped in more deeply and joined as Co-founder, taking on the role of Chief Business Officer. Today, I’m fully involved in building ZillOut. We’re building the infrastructure layer for India’s going-out economy, helping venues move away from aggregator dependency and toward owning their full stack: discovery, bookings, operations, and customer intelligence. The focus is simple: bring control back to the venues and make demand directly accessible at the moment it is created. Outside of work, I spend time playing cricket, poker, and traveling. I also enjoy conversations with founders and operators across different markets, those perspectives constantly shape how I think about systems, incentives, and scale.
