I am a Senior Research Scientist at Adobe Research - India. Prior to this, I was a Senior Research Scientist at IBM Research - India and IBM Master Inventor. I am also an ACM Distinguished Speaker and IEEE Senior Member. I joined IBM Research - India in December 2010 as a Research Scientist in the area of Business Analytics and Optimization. Prior to joining IBM Research, I have received my Master's and Ph.D. degrees both in computer science, in 2006 and 2010 respectively, from the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. My research interests are Hybrid Data Analytics, Federated Machine Learning, Computational Network Science, Computational Game Theory, Graph Data Mining, Multi-Agent Decision Making and Data Science. I have published about 30 peer-reviewed research articles in several premier computer science conferences such as AAAI, AAMAS, IJCAI, ECAI, ECML, ICPR, etc. I have got 32 granted patents from USPTO and about 20 patents applications filed in USPTO in the areas of artificial intelligence, social networks, data science, business analytics, and IoT. I have received IBM's prestigious "Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (OTAA)" FOUR times for my work in the areas of social media and business analytics, graph mining and game theory. I am a recipient of Microsoft Research India Ph.D. Fellowship for a duration of 3 years from 2007-2010 and an honorable mention award for my work in doctoral dissertation from Yahoo! Labs Key Scientific Challenges, 2010. I also have received the "Best Ph.D. Thesis" award from Computer Society of India (CSI), 2012.
