  • My maiden entrepreneurial venture.
  • We launched our first mobile app product, in Tamil vernacular, called "தமிழன்டா" (Tamizhanda) on both Android Play store and Apple Appstore. This was a first of a kind, mobile-first, social-media app in the Tamil language.
  • Drove select and cost-effective Digital marketing efforts personally to drive the downloads to 50K users overall, with MAU of 10K users and DAU of 2K users. User-generated content overtook the moderator generated content within a matter of 9 months from the date of launch. Basis the progress made, we managed to get a conditional LOI for advertising on the vernacular platform. Pitched in various forums both within India and International events. We shut the platform in Jan 2017 since we could not raise the required quantum of investment required to market the platform.
