  • Snaphire is mostly something I do very passively and as a passion project focused on helping founders hire great engineering talent. The key insight here is that most startups do outbound outreach to hire top engineering talent. So to add extra value for founders, I'd run Lemlist campaigns to just refer a few solid interested engineers for early stage founders.

  • Landed at Gemba Capital after growing my content group to 1,000+ founders and VCs. In a tight team of three, I built thesis, reached out to well experienced top-tier early stage founders, and joined partner calls. Led by Adith Podhar’s expertise, we targeted fintech, plus some marketplace and SaaS plays, seeking strong founders, products, and markets. Great ride backing bold ventures!

  • I started this to break into a VC fund job, which is slightly tough in India with so few funds focused on big, scalable startups. I was reading a lot on Twitter and blogs to learn about the startup world, so I created a group to share useful Twitter threads and posts from founders and funds. I’d pick five links a day to share, and people from Sequoia, Lightspeed, Accel, and founders like those from Lenskart and FamPay started checking it out regularly.
  • Over a year, it grew to about 1,000 founders and VCs. It was fun!

  • We spotted a great opportunity when the Maldives traveler market spiked by 59.6% in 2019. After deep research, we built a solid business model for honeymooners, leveraging our clear target audience, expertise, and clever sales markups.
  • Within months, we were generating decent revenue. We didn't scale to other locations as it was an operations-heavy endeavor, which I dislike, so we ran it for a few months for fun.

  • Started by learning the ropes with my dad and brother-in-law in their jewelry and diamond businesses. As profit-driven Marwaris, I mastered cost-cutting and optimization early, driving our growth. Based in Mumbai and Hong Kong, I sharpened my skills in high-stakes, family-run ventures. Convinced that tech is key to scale, I joined a startup in e-commerce and relocated to Bangalore, ready to dive into new horizons!
