• Zaggle connects consumer and corporate spends to merchants through various products such as gift cards, loyalty cards, group dining concierge and employee perks systems. It makes Rs. 600 Crore in annual revenue, with over 1500 corporate clients across India.
• > Conceptualized the consumer play that combines all of Zaggle’s products working fragmented at the time - a platform that enables consumers to combine their corporate rewards, loyalty points, cashbacks into a single pool and spend them together.
• > Built and lead a team of 9 to design, develop and execute the product
• > Developed the products in an agile fashion while supporting the existing business
• > Set up the data pipelines and BI (Business Intelligence) from scratch

• Collected and analysed the requirements, designed and developed PeaceTrack and iOS app to facilitate day-to-day data collection by Peace Corps Volunteers in the field. This involved co-ordinating over a series of calls over a month to gather a picture of the requirements on ground, lead the design iterations and developing the app in coordination with the MACC team which handles the server.

• Worked to create a robust text-feature set to be used in speech synthesis of Dravidian languages in Machine Learning based synthesis systems such as Deep Neural Network based synthesis systems under Dr. Kishore Prahallad & Dr. Suryakath G. V.
• The area of study falls at a confluence of NLP (Natural Language Processing), Machine Learning and Speech Signal Processing. The idea is to take a fresh & NLP rooted approach to text features, relying not only on synonym & word level data, but also on discourse level parameters keeping in mind the features of the Dravidian Language family, yet keeping it generic to be applicable to other language families, in order to create a rich and robust text-feature set to be used to train a deep neural network to synthesize MFCCs. In the process submitted 2 papers to COLING 2015 and NACL 2016.

• Worked as research engineer on the only free and open-source Machine Translation system Anusaaraka.(http://anusaaraka.iiit.ac.in) at Language Technologies Research Center (The largest NLP lab in India).
• The idea is to look at the machine translation problem afresh and observe that there is a need to share the load between man and machine, distinguish ‘reliable’ knowledge from the ‘heuristics’ to provide a spectrum of outputs to serve different strata of people, and finally make use of existing resources instead of reinventing the wheel. The work moves towards a unique approach to develop machine translation system based on the insights of information dynamics from Paninian Grammar Formalism.
