I am Ishaan Gupta, an innovator and business leader currently spearheading ENCO as Vice Chairman, a globally recognized company known for its exceptional R&D capabilities and avant-garde automotive metal forming products. Guided by an unrelenting commitment to quality and progress, we serve a spectrum of car brands with world-class automotive products and services. We specialise in body structural components, chassis and suspension products, toolings, jigs and SPMs. With our core R&D strengths, we lead the industry in design, durability, and digitalization, right from our sprawling manufacturing units in Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Having earned both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), my early interests gravitated towards computer architecture. My passion took flight with my extensive research on multi-core processors on a single chip and internships at nVidia, Micron & AMD, that brought an edge to my technological adeptness. Trading my circuit boards for stock charts, I quit the Phd program at UIUC with my Masters and journeyed onto Wall Street, delving into the financial ecosystem with Citigroup’s investment bank in New York City. Later, I found my forte in cross-country arbitrage with QVT, a top-notch hedge fund. But it was at ENCO, since 2010, where my digital roots flourished again. Overseeing a sea change in our processes, I instilled the potential of digitization as a key pillar for the company's future. Building on ENCO’s existing robotic endeavours, I created a specialised electronics and automation team. The blend of technology and mechanical excellence, not only improved efficiency but made ENCO a name synonymous with innovation. As a member of the Young Business Leaders' Forum (YBLF) since 2019, my gratitude to ACMA and YBLF is immense for nurturing my leadership skills and expanding my industrial horizons. As I move forward, I envision a future of driving engineering solutions that transform the automobile industry and taking ENCO to even greater heights.
