About

You probably know exactly which meeting I'm talking about. The one where someone asks a question you've answered six times before. Where a decision sat in someone's inbox for two weeks until you picked it up. Where the team is capable -- genuinely capable -- but nothing moves until you are in the room. You're not the bottleneck because you're bad at letting go. You're the bottleneck because no one has built the structure that lets your team move without you. That's what I build. I'm Mugdha. Fractional COO, and the person behind Clarity90. I work with founders of purpose-driven businesses who have built something real but cannot step back from it. In 90 days, I put in the operating system -- the decision logic, the team rhythms, the accountability structures -- that lets your business run without you holding it together. What this has looked like in practice: -- A founder spending 6-8 hours a week on operational coordination. Down to 1 hour a month in 90 days. -- Founders who recovered 15+ hours per month -- and used them to actually lead. -- Businesses that stopped breaking every time the founder stepped back. I've spent 16 years working across UNESCO heritage site management, rural livelihood development, city-wide festival operations, EdTech transformation, and Fractional COO engagements. That range is not background noise. It is why I see what a conventional consultant misses: the human architecture underneath the org chart. I take a maximum of 3 clients at a time. If what I've described is your Tuesday morning, reach out. The Clarity Session is where this work starts. Link in featured section.

  • Led simultaneous operational transformation across six departments: Sales, Marketing, Academics, Operations, HR, and Placements for a scaling edtech firm.
  • Built integrated systems that reduced administrative load, improved cross-team execution, and created repeatable operational rhythms the organisation could run without constant leadership intervention.
  • This engagement required something most operational projects do not: designing for human adoption, not just technical efficiency. Systems that people actually use.

  • Scope included CRM implementation, ERP integration, sales pipeline automation, team process design, and cross-department workflow standardisation.
  • This engagement is the clearest proof of what operational system design actually produces: not incremental improvement, but a structural change in how the business runs.

Project Lead for Tata Technologies CSR Project

Oct 2019Apr 2021 · 1 yr 6 mos · Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area

  • Project Lead for Pune Cultural Mapping, Tata Technologies CSR
  • Operational lead for Pune Cultural Mapping, a complex, multi-stakeholder project involving 70 to 80 people across collaborators, staff, and interns, delivered under significant resource and timeline constraints.
  • Built and managed the full operational infrastructure: work plans, documentation systems, stakeholder communication, reporting frameworks, and archiving guidelines for a city-wide cultural database.
  • This project is where I learned what most operational consultants have not: how to build systems that work when the team is under-resourced, the brief is ambiguous, and the stakes are genuinely high.

Clarity90™ (by timekeepers consultants)

Systems Consultant

Dec 2018Present · 7 yrs 4 mos · Remote

  • Clarity90 is a 90-day operational framework built to solve one specific problem: founder-led businesses that are growing but breaking because the founder is still the operating system.
  • Most founders reach a point where effort and results stop correlating. The business is not failing. It is structurally dependent on one person. Every decision, every handoff, every execution thread runs through the founder. Growth becomes a ceiling.
  • Clarity90 removes that ceiling.
  • The framework covers operational diagnosis, system design, team enablement, and founder exit from daily execution. Delivered as Fractional COO engagements and cohort programmes for founders across IT, consulting, education, and social impact sectors.
  • If you're a founder who feels stuck between effort and results, Clarity90 is designed to fix that gap
  • Embedded operational partner for founder-led businesses navigating the gap between vision and execution.
  • Key results: Reduced a client's weekly operational management from 4 to 8 hours to 1 hour per month through end-to-end workflow design and system build. Freed founders 15 or more hours per month by building team-run execution systems. Implemented RevOps frameworks that made sales pipelines predictable without founder involvement.
  • Acted as Founder's Office lead across vendor management, team enablement, and operational rhythm-setting.
  • Sectors: IT services, consulting, education, social impact, investment advisory.

Heritage Management and Architecture Roles

Apr 2006Jun 2018 · 12 yrs 2 mos

  • A decade building, documenting, and managing complex systems at the intersection of community, government, and physical infrastructure. From Ellora Caves conservation management to UNESCO heritage site documentation to city-wide festival operations across 64 events in 9 days.
  • This period also includes three years as Assistant Professor at Marathwada Mitramandal College of Architecture — teaching History of Architecture and Architectural Design to undergraduates. That is where Clarity90 began, not the product, but the instinct behind it. Designing curricula that made complex, layered systems legible to people encountering them for the first time.
  • What this period built: the ability to work in environments with no playbook, multiple competing stakeholders, deep ambiguity, and outcomes that matter. The skills that make a good heritage manager and the skills that make a good Fractional COO are more similar than either world knows.
