I’d love to hear from you :) Here’s my attempt at telling my story in precisely 291 words: I’m originally from Dehradun, a mountain person at heart, though life took me to Delhi, India when I moved there for my undergraduate at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. My time at LSR was a mix of two very different worlds. In the classroom, I was studying literature, reading Sylvia Plath and Virginia Woolf. Outside of it, I found myself increasingly drawn to building things. Through Enactus, I led three social impact ventures across mental health, artisan livelihoods, and waste management. They may have been smaller in scale, but meaningful in impact. As we often said in Enactus, head for business, heart for the world. Professionally, I have since worked in strategy and execution roles at Amazon and Google, where my work largely involved consulting businesses on how to grow better. At Amazon, I was part of a newly launched program working closely with businesses to solve growth and operational challenges in a 0 to 1 environment. At Google, I partnered closely with founders and leadership teams on customer acquisition, positioning, and marketing investment decisions, while working through the operational constraints that often sat behind growth challenges. More recently, I spent some time exploring building something of my own alongside travelling. While it didn’t fully work out, it pushed me to think more like a builder and operate in ambiguity. Today, my interests increasingly resonate with work around building economic models and ventures where social and environmental impact sits at the core. Outside work you will usually find me reading, pet-sitting my dog Ruskin (yes, named after my favourite writer), or trying to find my way back to the mountains in search of a slower life.
