  • As Founder of Nexprt, I led the company through an ambitious journey to redefine MSME manufacturing in long-tail categories like furniture and home decor. We raised $5.2M from marquee investors including Sequoia, Lightspeed, and Titan Capital, aiming to build a vertically integrated, tech-enabled manufacturing ecosystem.
  • We adopted a full-stack approach—setting up two fully digitised, 200,000+ sq. ft. brownfield factories across two cities to serve enterprise-grade clients. Under my leadership, we scaled a team of 150+ full-time employees, built strong design capabilities, and developed a global sales footprint across the US, EU, and India, supported by a team of industry veterans all within a short span of 18 months.
  • The business gained strong early traction during the COVID tailwinds. However, the post-pandemic slowdown in US consumption, combined with our high operational overheads, led us to reassess the model.
  • In response, we pivoted to profitability—launching a homegrown India-focused D2C brand in the home and furniture space. With a focus on mass premiumisation and organised retail, we built a profitable 0→1 business from scratch.
  • Ultimately, we made the tough decision to wind down operations after not finding aligned conviction between founders and investors to scale the business toward a 100x outcome.
