After having 3 years of experience in front-end VLSI .. ie ASIC/SOC design flow, functional and formal verification, silicon validation and other front-end activities , my interest in back-end engineering of the VLSI chips pulled me to get associated with AMD for 2 yrs in Back-end -- PNR and Physical Verification ..during this time I got the opportunity of getting involved in the making of a new entertainment based social networking company called " Indyarocks " .... though this was quite out of sync with my field of expertise , i got hooked to this company as it was a very new concept those days , when there were many social networking sites but non of them had any entertainment part , and we know that lot of friends in India get to have fun over a movie or a video game or let it be the all time favorite cricket so entertainment was always a part of networking .... and soon this become one of the top social networking sites in India ...... In this process an entrepreneur spark started building in me , and this got me involved in taking the young kids on to the right way of learning and preparing them to become the "future of India ". So along with a close family Friend we started a pre-school called Samskara Kids , where importance is given to 3 E’s -- " Education, Ethics and Ethnicity " SAMSKAR KIDS -- Is a Chain of Pre-School Network with focus on promoting childhood education . The Sanskrit term "SAMSKAR" reflects not just the culture but it holds a deep and pure reason to create a good human being, a good family, a good society, a good nation and thus a good world to live in. And this won’t happen with just "Traditional Education". What we need to teach our kids in addition to formal education is "ETHICS and CULTURE". So, our philosophy at "SAMSKAR" is to promote EDUCATION with equal emphasis on ETHICS and CULTURE.

Generated test cases to verify the interaction and interface between on chip SPI-controller with external flash.
 System level formal verification of portable media player chip.

Lint checking of the full chip by using the 0-In Lint tool - from Mentor.
Checking for the presence of proper synchronizers when control or data signals are crossing, clock domains.
Logical equivalence check of the RTL with the gate level using Cadence’s Conformal ASIC tool.

 Block level verification of Audio and Video DSP
The DSP used was the Tensilica’s Xtensa processor, which is an extensible and configurable processor. Its instruction set can be extended by defining the instruction using the TIE (Tensilica Instruction Extension) Language. Verification of this DSP included two main tasks.
Verification of the functionality of the processor core, using the test cases provided by Tensilica, in ATI’s environment.
Verification of functionality of the new instruction set developed at ATI using TIE language.
