• Led a global AGILE team that is driving the creation of core Android and Windows SW products for future generation phones, tablets & Internet of Things (IoT) products. Global SW leader for the latest generation of Intel's Windows tablet program based on Intel's first 14nm SoC. Domains included audio, voice, speech, power & performance optimization, energy management, platform architecture, systems integration and validation.

• Drove the strategy for core software for Intel Atom SoCs as well as the organizational transformation to infuse software thinking in a predominantly hardware organization. This was a key transformation effort as Intel moved from being a predominantly microprocessor company into an SoC & full platform organization. Also led the HW/SW co-design efforts to help reduce time to market for our SoC products in order to be competitive in a very rapidly changing market.

• Under his leadership, Intel reached an enviable milestone of training more than a 1 million of India’s 6 million or so teachers in 21st century teaching skills using Information and Communication technology.
