About

I am a do-er by nature with the ability to spider into many different possibilities for a situation. This skill allows me to be both proactive and reactive while working through any necessary task or project. We all know that being an EA and now in HR is more than just a calendar; it's really project and people management. When you're an EA, you are an extension of the leadership team. Being authentic, professional and kind is something I strive for each day. I enjoy working across departments, aligning agendas, supporting people to be their best and do their best work. It's been a privilege to serve members of the C-Suite for over ten years.

Comet

Executive Assistant and HR Ops

May 2022Present · 4 yrs 1 mo · Remote

  • If you can run in start up life, you can run anywhere! Now being in the AI life, the latter couldn't be more true! At Comet, I've gone from supporting our CEO 100% of my time to ADDING HR Ops. I am running in dual roles right now and enjoying the breadth of collaboration across the organization. It's been fun to apply my skills as an EA to the HR Ops role as well: organization, care for individuals, execution, project management and much more. Helping run our global, remote team has expanded my HR knowledge deeply across the employee's life cycle and has included team event planning (nationally and globally), employee experience and engagement as well as special projects. The opportunity to execute on both roles daily has helped me serve my CEO in greater capacity by expanding my relationships across the organization, deep diving into a department's ability to execute on their quarterly plans, team dynamics and overall business acumen. I love what I do!

Crucible acquisition

Investor Relations Coordinator / Executive Assistant

Feb 2021May 2022 · 1 yr 3 mos · Colorado, United States

  • It was a privilege to be brought on board by the former GM & VP of the VictorOps Business Unit at Splunk to work with him at Crucible. This was a small but mighty team and provided me an opportunity to wear many hats including investor relations again! I was responsible for managing all of our quarterly filing activity and investor relationships. I supported our CEO in various capacities when it came to handling potential target companies, relationships with bankers, investors, vendors and partners as well as helping manage many activities with our sponsor and board members. This was a great learning experience and allowed me to exercise muscles that needed a bit of a refresh!

  • In June of 2018, VictorOps was acquired by Splunk. The sale of VictorOps was lead by Jim Lejeal, former CFO at Sphero and Rally Software. I was recruited by Jim to assist the management team in the transition of the company into the larger Splunk team. This required a lot communication, alignment of individuals and teams, cross departmental collaboration, and knowledge sharing through the creation of processes and systems.

Executive Assistant

Jan 2018Dec 2018 · 11 mos

  • I joined this company in the middle of a large office transition, coming alongside our Director of Operations to move 120 employees into a brand-new office build and never lost a beat in my day to day responsibilities. I had my first child in June 2018 and after maternity leave, I transitioned right back into supporting our team to host our company’s conference with over 350 attendees. Again, never losing stride. In a short time, I put my nose to the grind and made things happen!

  • In an industry that is ever evolving, the people behind the magic must also adapt! Redesigning a day, an attitude, a position or any situation has become a specialty of mine. While at Sphero, I’ve assisted many functions of the business all at the same time by providing a “can do” attitude and leveraging my experience. I was recruited by Rally's CFO to join him at Sphero and what a great opportunity to do so!

Executive Assistant / Investor Relations Coordinator

  • In a short 3.5 years, I partnered with Rally’s CFO through a successful IPO, through bad, good and great quarterly earnings, and finally, through the sale of the company to CA Technologies. I excelled in an ever evolving business culture, learning a new profession while maintaining all of my previous responsibilities as an executive assistant.
