• Joined Zepto to lead the DS function. Although the org went into cost-cutting and I had no direct reportees, I built a high-performing part-time contributor group (4–6 ICs), mentored them, and rebuilt the Consumer App Design System using a mature token architecture and incremental adoption strategy.
• Also led the audit and rebuild of Zepto’s Internal Tools Design System powering ~30 tools (fulfillment, ops, logistics, finance, vendor systems). Facilitated cross-functional alignment with engineering leadership and pushed structured governance.
• Parallel to DS work, I designed key consumer product surfaces and defined AI-driven workflows to cut front-end development effort by 50–75%, using Figma MCP, Cursor/Windsurf, and DevConnect.
• This role balanced IC depth, leadership clarity, systems thinking, and org-wide influence.

• Worked inside one of India’s highest-scale product teams to build the PhonePe Consumer App Design System (200M+ MAUs). Co-authored the team’s 200–300 page design system playbook, built tokens, components, governance, and collaborated deeply with engineering across the adoption pipeline.
• Led the design system for Pincode, PhonePe’s quick-commerce app — delivered in ~2 months with a small team. Later contributed to the rapid rollout of the PhonePe app redesign, powered by strong DS foundations.
• PhonePe refined my large-scale systems leadership — precision, governance, collaboration, education, and high-quality component engineering.

• Joined Airtel to strengthen their visual design and quickly uncovered major gaps in their design system setup. Took ownership of a complete DS audit (self-initiated), rebuilt structure, naming, architecture, and component logic to modern standards, and aligned with engineering to push adoption.
• Later led the visual language exploration for Airtel’s brand refresh — creating cross-product concepts and presenting the new digital expression to leadership. Built the master DS intended to unify 15+ Airtel products across web and mobile. This phase honed my systems thinking, visual strategy, and ability to influence large product orgs.

• Viden was the defining chapter of my career. I was a one-person design + front-end team in a 4-member startup building LMS platforms, coaching tools, school systems, and a long-term vision for India’s bottom-up education infrastructure.
• My work included:
• Designing and developing 5+ product MVPs end-to-end.
• Rewriting the complete front-end twice (HTML/CSS/JS → Vue).
• Building the first design system for the entire product ecosystem.
• Leading market research in Delhi’s coaching industry to reshape our roadmap.
• Co-authoring a granted Indian patent on hierarchical knowledge management.
• I operated like a co-founder — strategy, UX, UI, front-end, selling, pitching, research, and execution. These four years shaped my builder mindset and taught me how to translate ambiguity into real product velocity.

• Joined Squareboat to work on their internal product, Hackr.io — a global platform for discovering the best programming tutorials. Designed and coded the front-end end-to-end (HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery), built new features like Roadmaps and Tutorials Directory, and redesigned core user journeys that scaled with global traffic.
• This is where I became a “full-stack designer” without realizing it — designing UX, UI, interactions, and then rolling up my sleeves to code everything myself. It sharpened my sense of feasibility, speed, and the tight collaboration needed between design and engineering in real-world shipping environments.

• I started my career at ApnaExpert, designing the first version of a hyperlocal services app (think pre-UrbanClap India). Worked directly with the founding team to design end-to-end app flows, from onboarding to service booking. This was my first exposure to building a product from scratch and understanding early-stage product chaos. It set the foundation for my interest in problem-solving, UI craft, and early user behaviour in India’s service economy.
