• Using incremental agile development, the SIS application has been tailor-made for the purposes of the scheme and allows the entire lifecycle of the scheme to be automated.
• As a result, hours spent administrating the scheme have been significantly reduced, while overall takeup amongst students has increased dramatically.
• SIS is now the largest single volunteering scheme operated by the University with over 3000 hours volunteered annually
