To.video

Co-Founder | CEO|Gen AI experimentation

Jun 2024Mar 2025 · 9 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • Within 18-24 months, we'll be able to create feature-length films with Avatar-level fidelity for under $100 using AI. As quality improves and costs decline, AI will become the default method for video creation.
  • The Challenge:
  • Today's AI video creation requires navigating a complex, multi-step workflow across numerous specialized tools:
  • Concept development and scripting with GPT models
  • Audio generation via 11labs/Suno/Udio
  • Character creation with Flux/Llora/Midjourney
  • Shot list development and video generation through Runway/Luma/Sora
  • Post-production with lip-syncing, upscaling, VFX compositing and editing
  • This fragmented landscape forces creators to:
  • Manage disjointed workflows across multiple platforms
  • Pay for numerous expensive subscriptions
  • Make compromising choices between competing models
  • Our Solution:
  • To.Video provides:
  • A single platform managing the entire AI video production workflow
  • Access to all leading models (both open and closed source)
  • No-code fine-tuning and Lora creation capabilities
  • Reusable assets (characters, voices, settings) for streamlined creation
  • We're building the comprehensive platform that will power the next generation of AI-enabled video creators.

Itilite

Head of International Business

Dec 2019Jun 2021 · 1 yr 6 mos · San Francisco Bay Area / Bangalore · On-site

  • Joined ITILITE, an integrated Travel & Expense management solution backed by Matrix & Tiger Global, in late 2019 when the company had established a strong foothold in India but had yet to expand internationally.
  • Spearheaded the company's global Go-To-Market strategy, strategically targeting South East Asia and North America as initial expansion markets.
  • Successfully launched ITILITE's North American operations during the COVID-19 pandemic when business travel had virtually ceased:
  • Established a strategic beachhead by partnering with Zact, a expense management card provider (comparable to Brex and Ramp), to power their travel component. This partnership created a pipeline of customers who, after implementing expense automation, sought complementary business travel solutions.
  • Identified and penetrated underserved niche markets in the Midwest, focusing on traditional industries like trucking and logistics that were actively seeking to modernize their business travel infrastructu

Altsoul

Co-Founder & CEO

Oct 2017Nov 2019 · 2 yrs 1 mo · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

  • Co-founded Altsoul, a fitness subscription service providing access to multiple gyms and studios - India's answer to ClassPass. Our hypothesis: urban Indians were shifting from traditional gyms to varied functional training, requiring access to multiple facilities.
  • Launched in Bangalore's Indiranagar neighborhood with 12 partner facilities, quickly becoming their largest source of footfall.
  • Expanded to 8 Bangalore neighborhoods and secured two in-person interviews with Y Combinator at their Mountain View office.
  • Made the difficult decision to shut down operations after facing two critical challenges:
  • Supply density issues: Outside premium neighborhoods, we couldn't maintain the variety needed to differentiate from standard gym memberships
  • Unsustainable economics: We couldn't achieve profitable unit economics without imposing usage restrictions, which significantly increased customer churn
  • This experience provided invaluable lessons in marketplace dynamics, unit economics, and knowing when to pivot or close a business that can't reach sustainable scale.

Swiggy

Strategy | CEO's Office

Dec 2015Sep 2017 · 1 yr 9 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • Joined Swiggy (food delivery Unicorn) in late 2015, as the second person in the CEO's office. Worked on four major projects during my tenure:
  • Improving platform AOV
  • Improved platform AOV by implementing cross-sell and upsell across restaurants on the platform
  • The upsell method was to identify popular dishes and suggest bigger variants of it in the recommendation section
  • Cross-sell: Identified meal completion patterns and curated intelligent bundles that improved AOV
  • Bring Coke & Pepsi to the platform:
  • Worked out a deal with Coke & Pepsi to bring them to the platform
  • Ensuring continuity of service during rains and monsoons:
  • Swiggy's delivery service is motorbike led, which creates major interruption of service during monsoons or just generally when it rains, contributing to major order loss for the platform
  • Was responsible for working on a project called 'Rain Mode', which was to minimize the impact of rains on Swiggy's order volume across cities
  • We did this by optimizing restaurant menus, intelligent routing of delivery partners and selective blacklisting of areas that would minimize load on the overall system
  • Optimized the Partner Support system
  • Being a 3-sided marketplace Swiggy needed a Partner Support system, like customer support but for our restaurant partners
  • Tried to model it around Amazon's partner support system that focused on eliminating partner interactions, providing self-serve tools & for the queries that required agent support ensure quick resolution times

Mondoboard

Co-Founder & CEO

Oct 2013Nov 2015 · 2 yrs 1 mo · Mumbai · On-site

  • Mondoboard was my first entrepreneurial stint. It started from a personal pain-point for me when I moved to Mumbai. How do I find a tennis court and partners to play tennis with.
  • We fundamentally had two challenges to overcome:
  • Build a community of people who play sport, and grade them on the basis of skill
  • Aggregate sporting inventory like courts, pools etc that can be booked by our users
  • Getting folks who were interested in sport was the easy part, we were able to tap into existing Facebook groups to identify people, and then based on an interview we were able to grade them by skill.
  • Finding and aggregating sports inventory was a major challenge. Mumbai did not have a lot of public sporting infrastructure, and the few places that were available were usually booked out. So we had to find alternative sporting infrastructure.
  • We tapped into residential supply and made it bookable. A lot of apartment complexes had swimming pools and courts that were occasionally used but weren't open to the public. We worked with societies to make that inventory bookable.
  • Initially it worked and we scaled to multiple neighborhoods in Mumbai, but over time residential societies weren't comfortable with outsiders coming in and using their facilities and decided to not continue listing their inventory on our platform.
