Bradley W. Barnes — Product Manager
I am proud graduate of North Carolina State University, where I earned my degree in electrical engineering. I bring experience across a range of industries, developing a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and delivering effective solutions for clients. I currently apply my skills within the high-voltage substation space, leveraging both my academic training and professional experience to support reliable and efficient engineering outcomes. While I am early in my career in this specific field, I am committed to continuous learning and growth, using my broad understanding of electrical engineering principles to take on new challenges each day. I am driven to become a highly proficient engineer and aspire to grow into a leadership role, with my long-term goal of contributing to innovation and transformation within this rapidly evolving industry. My biggest accomplishment in my career actually happened before I embarked on a career path in technology and engineering. In the spring/summer of 2020, when I was sent back home from college as COVID began, I decided to reach out to a local small business that specializes in tree removal and landscaping for commercial and residential clients. Since it was the hottest time of the year during that stretch, there were many days when I contemplated resigning. But finishing that assignment became my biggest accomplishment. I was able to stick through it, and I’ve tried to carry that same work ethic into whatever role I’m in today. Along with technical skills, I strive to bring three core qualities to any organization: adaptability, collaboration, and passion. In a world defined by constant innovation, one thing remains certain—the only constant is change. While adaptability is often discussed at a broad level, its true value shows up in our day-to-day work: how quickly we learn, adjust, and respond in real time. Being adaptable means staying effective, even when circumstances shift unexpectedly. Equally important is collaboration. While individual contributions matter, meaningful progress is rarely achieved in isolation. Strong teams are built on trust, open communication, and a shared commitment to common goals. When people work cohesively, they don’t just complete tasks—they elevate one another’s performance. Finally, passion ties everything together. It fuels persistence, inspires creativity, and drives meaningful results. Without it, even great ideas can lose momentum. With it, challenges become opportunities, and innovation becomes not just possible, but inevitable.
