• Kickstarted and completely took responsibility for a responsive and reactive web application called Patient DB(also named patient progression), which is a clinician-based web portal to submit and review collected patient metadata and enable monitoring of patient status and progression throughout the study. The application is used by the Australian National University and Canberra Hospital.
• Designed the whole look of the website using Vuetfiy to create custom themes and created custom components.
• Created a highly concurrent frontend app and API server using async/await in JavaScript and Python, which increased the overall performance metrics of the whole application by threefold.
• Integrated OpenID Connect for authentication using Authorization Code Flow with PKCE with Australian Access Federation as the Authorization server entirely in frontend javascript using SDKs, and added other security checks and flows like Token Handler Pattern. Implemented necessary security features, headers in the app, HTTP cookies etc. to prevent injection attacks like XSS, SQL injection and other attacks like CSRF.
• Setup the whole application architecture in NCI server(https://nci.org.au/) using Nginx along with VueJS3, uvicorn, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, linting tools, sqlalchemy and alembic.
• Mentored two interns and a colleague to help with collaborative development and good contribution flow, as well as weekly workshops and documentation. Introduced CI/CD pipelines with pre-commit and Jenkins.

• Created a learning management system called Jupyteach (https://app.jupyteach.com/) along with the Managing Director of Valorum Data, based in New York(https://github.com/sglyon) It is used at workshops and examinations conducted by him and also by Quantecon to run their workshops and courses, some notable ones being an economics workshop for students in Africa, which garnered over 5000 applications. The tech stack we chose for this project was based on RedwoodJS, and we made wireframes and designs using Figma and brainstormed the whole architecture remotely using online collaborative tools. The Technologies used were React, GraphQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Docker—databases like PostgreSQL and orms like Prisma.

• Worked on various high-impact open-source Python projects like ExecutableBooks (https://executablebooks.org), which creates beautiful, publication-quality books and documents from computational content, and QuantEcon, which is a platform to teach programming and quantitative economics. I am part of the core founding team of Executablebooks (https://compass.executablebooks.org/en/latest/team/index.html#core-team) and was involved in the planning, design and execution of the project from scratch. Worked closely with the members of Project Jupyter(https://jupyter.org/) and researchers from Europe and the USA. Primary technologies used were Javascript, Python, AWS, Docker and other related language tools. CI/CD workflow was created using GitHub Actions, leveraging pre-commit for code sanity, Netlify for build previews, pytest, Jest and browserstack for unit, integration and A/B tests. Releases to PyPI and conda-forge were also automated and triggered whenever a new version was created in GitHub.
• The main package(jupyter-book) of which I am the third highest contributor has 3.7k stars and have been downloaded and used by 14k people according to Github. Contributor to dozens other packages from executableboks and QuantEcon projects, accumulating over 7k stars in Github. Sole owner of two packages named jupyterbook-latex and sphinx-multitoc-numbering. And sole maintainer of quantecon-book-theme, which is a Jinja(HTML templating engine),Javascript and Python based theme used by QuantEcon labs.
• Mentored and guided research assistants and interns on the team, including assigning tasks and transferring knowledge.
• Made significant improvements in the performance metrics of the web pages and the overall organization's SEO. Used Amazon S3, EC2 and lambda functions for deployment.
• Co-hosted and presented at the weekly QuanteCon Lunch Workshops at ANU's QuantEcon Labs, discussing computational topics like deep learning, parallel programming, distributed computing, etc.

• Worked on making open source build tools in the form of Javascript and python packages, used in scientific computing lectures, and worked alongside Nobel laureate Thomas J. Sargent(http://www.tomsargent.com/) to advance his mediums for online teaching. Led the Development and maintenance of the Quantecon Notes website: https://notes.quantecon.org/, which was used by Economics researchers worldwide. Was responsible for the architecture and design of the project, as well as regular updates to the platform. Technologies used were Express, NodeJS, React, and MongoDB

• Worked alongside the Managing Director of the company to fix bugs and add fetaures to the CSSE website along with its licensing, admin pages and other vendor websites. Technologies used were NodeJS, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

• Worked on a Central Government Project called PMFBY(Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojana https://pmfby.gov.in/), for Crop Insurance, using technologies like React, Redux, Webpack, ES6 and SCSS. The project is being used countrywide to facilitate communication and bookkeeping between all stakeholders in crop insurance. The stakeholders include the Central Government, State Governments, Banks, CSCs, Insurance Companies, and Farmers.
• It is the largest crop insurance scheme in the history of independent India and globally, and it is the third largest scheme in terms of premium. https://www.mygov.in/campaigns/pmfby/. 29.19 crore farmer applications have insured their crops under the PMFBY since 2016.
• Took full responsibility for certain modules in the project and mentored and assigned tasks to a colleague starting his career in React and NodeJS.

• Revamped the whole front end architecture of the website(<a href="https://www.wedmegood.com/">https://www.wedmegood.com/</a>) including development and production flow using AngularJS. The website had over 1,00,000 visitors a month, and is the most popular wedding planning application in India.
• Coded most of the pages and dashboards from scratch in <b>AngularJS, ReactJS, HTML and SCSS</b>. Made promotional and event pages which included a card game as part of campaign strategy and have around 20k participants countrywide. Introduced other softwares in our toolbelt like Zeplin, Prerender.io and Litmus(email marketing platform).
• Did A/B, unit and end to end testing using Jasmine, Cypress, Browserstack(for different browsers). Integrated google analytics for metrics, and improved SEO score of the website from 60 to 95.
• Mentored and managed all the team members in front-end and was part of the hiring process for the same. Continuosly engaged with business and sales team to reiterate the look and functionality of the application. Had frequent meetings with the designer of the app, to brainstorm functionality.

• Reimplemented the logged out pages with a colleague using JavaScript , Jquery and minimal third-party tools to bring down the response time of the website to one-third of the original time. Implemented the new design of UI using AngularJS and RequireJS along with a colleague, and wrote grunt tasks to make a highly responsive and fast web application.
• The application was used as a hiring platform by various companies in India, and they had job fairs that attracted around 2k to 12k participants.

• Made a Virtual Assistant using Javascript and HTML5 technologies which navigated and did tasks in a Network Management web app of Juniper using voice commands. It was an entry in a competition (‘DemoDay’) held at CDBU department, and it bagged third prize, in which 30 teams participated.
