My research was based upon Radio Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) which is a ground-based remote sensing technique and determines the temperature profile of the atmosphere. My research objective was to optimize the height coverage of RASS using acoustic ray-tracing method through plotting and computations upon data computed by radiosonde balloons on Simulink MATLAB.
