About

I love creating legacy and challenging the status quo. I love sales, but hate selling me (it's not about you in Sales, it's about solving real problems) So here are some quick things about me and my work (past, present, and future) so you can get to know me better. In, out, and about. 1. I've worked for some of the biggest and some of the smallest companies in #travel and #tech (Starwood, Booking.com, Despegar, Rategain, TripStack, AirDNA, Holibob) doing Operations, HR, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success & Product Strategy. I started building, leading, and coaching high-performing teams early in my life (tender 24) and have never looked back, it's just a rush! 2. I'm a digital & gadget junkie. I love every freakin' thing about tech. 3. Key decisions and a fair bit of luck have not only made me the professional I am, and also allowed me to compile a number of insanely awesome work-related stories. Filling in for my manager at an event, and that leading me to sit next to Disney Parks' CEO while watching the Lion King at IPW is just but one of many. 4. I lost my father at a young age, to cancer, so a lot of what I have to remember him by comes from colleagues and friends. Needless to say, I'd be happy if, at the end of my career, I get a third of the compliments I have heard about him and his family and work ethic. 5. This is how I sum up my job. I help people fall in love with our brand and vision to challenge the status quo (in any sector). I build, coach, mentor, and retain high-performing teams made of the best of the best. I foster trust with partners to help their business skyrocket, and ours in turn. Period. Exclamation point. 6. I aim high, work hard, and appreciate focus but also need some time there and back to diversify, and want to be immersed in a culture of learning, performance, fun, authenticity, and accountability. My Gallup strengths are -Learner, Achiever, Input, Responsibility, and Includer. If your culture is not aligned with the above, then I'm completely unemployable. In the end, I'm a big dreamer with big dreams and a big heart that truly believes that if you do right by people, they'll do right by you. And business success will ALWAYS follow (one 300MM investment, 1 IPO, and 2 successful exits - acquisitions in the last 12 years are my constant reminder and sanity check). Reach out to me if you want to discuss gadgets, web3, ideas, innovation, mentoring, tech, travel, diving, patisserie, or fatherhood; or just need someone to disconnect with and bounce back from/to.
