• Worked on transitioning the seller data management architecture to the master data management
• architecture which enabled onboarding of different parties such as sellers, partners, lenders, brands, etc.
• Reduced the architecture from 28 services to only 5 services that helped in increasing the
• maintainability of the system and reduce On-call/KTLO. Designed the new master system to serve
• reads at 250K QPS at peak load.
• Led the design and implementation of a real-time analytics data ingestion system, utilizing CDC
• replication, Apache Flink jobs, and GCP Dataproc. Managed a team of 2 developers to transition
• all existing entities from 11 services and Elasticsearch cluster from relay based ingestion to
• Flink-based ingestion which resulted in reducing DB writes by 10 % across the services and hence
• improving application performance and reducing infrastructure costs.
• Built a new service to gamify seller incubation journey on Flipkart's seller dashboard. Understood and
• onboarded our service to an internal Task Framework. Created a polling-based status update for
• different user tasks using the Quartz job framework. Collaborated with multiple teams and delivered
• the whole project end to end on short notice which helped increase daily transacting sellers on the
• Flipkart platform by 15 % (320 Cr GMV increase during BBD 2023).
• Led the comprehensive overhaul of Flipkart's Seller Dashboard bank verification service, collaborating
• with stakeholders to design and implement a customized name matching algorithm using
• categorization and Levenshtein algorithm, optimize third-party payment integrations, and deploy a
• fault-tolerant Hystrix-enabled system. Resulted in reducing cheque verifications to less than 1% of
• total verifications, effectively mitigating cheque frauds and streamlining operation bandwidth.
• Owned and maintained the services used to relay seller communications. Added IVR and
• Whatsapp channel capability to our communication platform by doing 3rd party integration
