About

I'm Geet, part of the founding team at Mosaic Wellness and VP of Marketing leading Man Matters, Be Bodywise, and Little Joys. I built Man Matters from scratch, India's first digital health coach for men. Scaled it to ₹200 Cr ARR. Learned everything about category creation, product-market fit, and why men search "best hair regrowth solutions" at 2 AM. The mission: Make men take their health seriously without making it feel like homework. Before wellness, I did FMCG sales at Reckitt (Dettol, Durex). Learned that real business happens at the ground level, not in boardrooms. Also learned some very interesting things about consumer psychology and dhandha. Started my career at SAP Labs working on IoT and Big Data before realizing I'd rather build brands than debug code at 2 AM. (Though the debugging was good prep for startup chaos.) MBA from IIM Kozhikode, where I won some case competitions and realized I preferred building real businesses over PowerPoints. I'm really passionate about men's health, nutrition, building brands in wellness, and everything along the way. Always open to connect with people building in health, wellness, or anyone who wants to talk about why men's health has been so underserved for so long.

Category Head - Man Matters

Dec 2019May 2024 · 4 yrs 5 mos

  • Led Man Matters category from inception to ₹200 Cr ARR, crafting the playbook for product-market fit, GTM strategy, and category creation. Owned P&L, scaled operations, and led a cross-functional team that made expert-led men’s wellness mainstream. Also learned that building a brand is equal parts logic, emotion, and controlled chaos. Had crazy fun with an amazing set of people too.

  • Led sales for RB Health in Orissa, a challenging but rewarding market with an annual turnover of ₹900 Cr. Managed a team of seven TSIs and ASEs, with over 60 field reps indirectly reporting to me. Drove top-line growth, built distribution muscle, and learned how FMCG truly runs at the ground level—one retailer, one distributor, and one consumer at a time. Also, launched Dettol Moms in 2019 and made it the best launch in the country.

  • Part of the RB Leadership Program, rotating through four roles across geographies and functions—learning FMCG the hard way, from pharmacy counters to hypermarkets, from Mumbai’s retail hustle to Durex strategy in Dubai.
  • Territory Sales Incharge (Raipur, Chhattisgarh) – Managed pharmacy and retail for RB Health, learning firsthand that no sales deck beats a good distributor relationship.
  • Area Sales Manager Stint (Mumbai Metro, Maharashtra) – Handled Mumbai’s retail market for health brands and built an unconventional distribution model for Durex.
  • Trade Marketing Stint (Dubai, UAE) – Worked on category management for Durex across the Middle East, dealing with major accounts like Lulu, Carrefour, and Boots.
  • This FMCG stint was my business bootcamp—nothing teaches you more about markets, execution, and consumer psychology than being in the trenches.

  • Spent a summer in FMCG figuring out that distribution is the real king, and rural markets play by a different set of rules. Crafted a go-to-market strategy to drive market share gains for Godrej in Gujarat.
  • Developed a sales strategy for the No.1 brand in the Gujarat region, setting the roadmap for market growth over two years.
  • Piloted a rural distribution model—turns out selling in the heartland is an art, science, and a logistics puzzle all rolled into one.
  • Created a BTL strategy to engage both urban and rural consumers, because what works in Ahmedabad doesn't always fly in Kutch.
  • Got a PPO for cracking the GTM code, but more importantly, got a front-row seat to how FMCG brands win (or lose) in the trenches.

  • Survived and thrived in Placecom—where sleep was a luxury. Part of the 12-member team elected to bridge the gap between IIMK and the corporate world, ensuring the right handshake between top talent and top firms.
  • Learned negotiation, crisis management, and how to draft 50 variations of ‘Dear Recruiter’ emails in record time. Also discovered that caffeine and recruiter follow-ups can make or break placement season.

  • This was my first real taste of dhandha—where strategy met jugaad, and I learned that building something from scratch is equal parts passion, persistence, and sticking posters on traffic signals.
  • Built theFoosballers, a ‘phygital’ platform aiming to disrupt how people engaged with foosball.
  • Selected among the top 12 business ideas in India by Reliance Industries and mentored by GenNext Ventures.
  • Pitched the model to Mukesh Ambani and the Reliance senior management—because if you’re going to dream, dream big.
  • Realized that entrepreneurship isn’t just about ideas but about execution, resilience, and figuring out solutions when nothing goes as planned.

  • Built cloud applications, leveraged Big Data, and played around with IoT—all while realizing that debugging code at 2 AM is great prep for CAT and GMAT later.
  • Developed contextual marketing solutions before I even knew what marketing really was.
  • Built one-to-one marketing tools for the travel industry—turns out, personalizing ads is easier than personalizing your own career path.
  • Featured in SAP’s global promo video (probably my 15 seconds of tech fame).
  • Made it to the top 8 in a 24-hour hackathon—because sleep is overrated.
  • Coding taught me structure, problem-solving, and how to deal with things breaking at the worst possible time—all skills that would come in handy in my MBA and beyond.
