As a Senior Recruiter at Google India, I hire empathetic and collaborative candidates with strong problem solving capabilities, from across big and small companies in India and APAC. My primary role is to lead APAC recruiting for one of the businesses (Trust and Safety) at Google. In this role, I collaborate with APAC and global recruiters, senior business leaders and hiring leads to help the Trust and Safety business sustain and grow. I am a firm believer in organisations with strong cultures hence I enjoy my additional role as the "Culture lead" for my team in India. In this role, our job is to effectively foster and develop a strong culture of well-being, celebration and inclusion. Before I joined Google in 2018, I worked for Deloitte US India (2014-2018)- first as a campus recruiter to hire top talent for the Audit business, and later as a market recruiter to build and grow the Knowledge Services team in India. I completed my MBA in HR from MDI, Gurgaon in 2014. At MDI, I was a part of the Student Council as well and headed the Hostel and Mess Committee during the year 2013-14. I was passionately involved in playing cricket as well. I also studied Engineering from Techno India, Kolkata and passed out in the year 2011. I am a firm believer in building strong organisational cultures based on trust, long lasting meaningful relationships and inclusion- all of which are of immense importance in the present corporate world.
