  • Over the past couple of years at MailerLite, my role has evolved together with the company, from being the only person handling hiring, onboarding, and HR strategy, to helping grow a 160+ person, fully distributed team. 💚 And I still love it every day.
  • I started out rebuilding our hiring foundations from scratch by experimenting with creative ideas, aligning our processes with our values, and making sure every candidate and new teammate felt the human touch behind our remote culture.
  • → Helped grow our team from 50 to 160+ people, hiring globally across tech and non-tech roles through both inbound and headhunting
  • → Created hiring strategies that attracted amazing people while keeping our culture at the center
  • → Built a candidate experience that’s open, kind, and personal

  • → Worked with our marketing team on employer branding, sharing real stories about how we work and who we are
  • → Since our application process is a bit different (we ask candidates to create a newsletter using our tool), I’ve always loved reading them, because they show so much creativity and personality. One of my favorites was from our Content Writer, Kerry, who made a “Hire Kerry” landing page with a hilarious video to help us understand her Belfast accent. I still remember laughing while watching it!
