As Director of Global Recruiting at Airbnb, I built the recruiting team and helped grow the company from 150 to 4,000+ employees while doubling women and underrepresented minorities in technical roles. I then co-founded Growth by Design Talent, where for six years our team partnered with some of the best venture-backed companies in the world — Anthropic, Stripe, Figma, Discord — to scale thoughtfully without sacrificing quality or culture. GBD was recently acquired by Cursor and I'm now in an intentional next chapter. I joined Airbnb as a member of the tiny founding recruiting team at an inflection point; we were still "Air- what??" but were gaining recognition. Over the next 5.5 years I built the recruiting team to over 100, and we in turn grew the company around 30X.
My time there was filled with highlights, here are a few:
Built a world-class recruiting team from under ten to 150.
Led the team to execute on growing the company from 150 to over 4000 employees in 5 years.
Led teams on four continents to recruit for over 20 offices worldwide.
