Co-founder and Chief Product Officer

Apr 2022Feb 2026 · 3 yrs 10 mos

  • Gather makes remote work feel as natural, creative, and productive as being in the same room. Now we’re also building new AI products to help teams feel less drained, more in sync, and better supported so they can spend less time on overhead and more time building and creating together. I lead the product and design teams.
  • We’re a small, tight-knit team of designers and builders who sweat the details and love rolling up our sleeves on weird, hard, delightful problems. Gather has raised $77M from Sequoia, Index, Dylan Field, Jeff Weiner, YC, and more. Check us out at https://www.gather.town.

Modern health

Chief Product Officer

Oct 2019Apr 2022 · 2 yrs 6 mos

  • Modern Health is a mental health benefits platform for employers, offering the first solution to cover the full spectrum of well-being – from proactive stress management to treatment for depression. The service now supports hundreds of thousands of employees at companies like Intel, Pixar, Lyft, Twitter, Okta, Electronic Arts, and Nextdoor. It is backed by Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, John Doerr, and Y Combinator.
  • As Chief Product Officer at Modern Health, I built and scaled the EPDR (engineering, product, design, research) and Content Studio org from 8 people to 110 people over 2.5 years. We were on a mission to democratize excellent care in a consumer-grade application. During my tenure, we 50x'ed the business and raised $100M+ across three funding rounds and became one of the fastest companies of its era to reach unicorn status.

Buzzfeed

Vice President of Product Management

May 2017Oct 2019 · 2 yrs 5 mos

  • At BuzzFeed, I led the Product Management, Product Design, and Support teams that were responsible for BuzzFeed's consumer experiences (e.g. BuzzFeed, BuzzFeed News, Tasty), and the many homegrown and vertically integrated internal tools they offer to creators, video producers, editors, social media managers, and more. BuzzFeed's owned-and-operated properties reached hundreds of millions of people, and their ML/AI-powered tools are a critical competitive advantage in the digital media space.

Twitter

Director of Product Management

Jan 2010May 2017 · 7 yrs 4 mos

  • I joined Twitter in early 2010 as one of the first PMs in the company's history. I was there for almost eight years and saw the company grow from less than 100 people to 2,000+. I led the product teams that are responsible for core parts of the service including conversations, photos, videos, profiles, notifications, messaging, international expansion, and more.
  • I also led the incubation and launch of an entirely new set of exclusive 0-to-1 Twitter products & apps specifically for Twitter's media partners and top influencers & creators.

Ning, inc.

Group Product Manager

Mar 2008Jan 2010 · 1 yr 10 mos

  • Ning was co-founded by Marc Andreessen and Gina Bianchini. It was a pioneer in the social and "Web 2.0" era by enabling anybody to create, manage and customize their own social network. Network Creators would create a community around an interest or passion of theirs, set the look and feel, select and layout their preferred features (e.g. blogs, photos, videos, groups, music, chat), and invite people to become friends within their network.
  • At its peak, we grew Ning to close to 50 million monthly active users and it was the community platform of choice for celebrities, small book clubs, and everything in between. For the majority of my time there, I was the sole PM in the company reporting directly to the CEO.
