  • The MUSIC Tribe is a global audio company that focuses on a gamut of products ranging from Pro Audio Mixing Consoles to Synthesizers and Home Studio equipment. I initially started out here as a specialist and moved into a lead position after 9 months. I looked after 3 sites in the UK as well as being the only recruiter in Europe and provided assistance to vacancies in Germany, Sweden and Denmark.
  • I helped to manage the recruitment process from end to end for a wide variety of positions including Software and Hardware Development, Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, Cloud, UX/UI Design, Videography, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations and Human Resourcing. I am well adept at sourcing candidates at all levels from Junior through to Upper Management.
  • During my time here I have helped to initiate a number of new company processes including an Internship program where I established and maintained contact with numerous universities across the country. I managed to engage with students that had an interest in Audio and Software or Hardware Engineering by attending university recruitment fairs and by organising demo days within the Manchester office.
  • I was also involved with realigning our salary structure across the Manchester Research and Development facility which resulted in a complete analysis of the current market for several verticals and in turn the justified increase of salaries across the building.
  • Despite having a small recruitment budget for advertising and headhunting tools - I have managed to hire over 60 employees across the UK and have saved the company over £300,000 in recruitment costs.
  • Other responsibilities have included:
  • Speaking with Hiring Managers to understand their recruitment needs and then creating job
  • specifications and approving necessary budgets.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new employees which includes writing up of contracts and sending across all relevant new starter documents.

  • During my time at GoToJobBoard i was responsible for a number of key roles to help support, maintain and grow the business. These included:
  • Account management - It was my duty to manage our client database of NHS Line Managers, Suppliers and Recruitment agencies, ensuring that they were happy and received the best service possible.
  • Business Development - I spent a proportion of each day trying to establish new business by offering a 14 day free trial to see what we were all about, i would follow each trial through the 14 day process and then try and establish a working relationship after.
  • Marketing - I lead the marketing side of the company and as a result was in charge of our social presence on LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook and Twitter. It was also my responsibility to create a minimum of two email campaigns a day which informed our database of candidates about new roles and changes within GoToJobBoard.com.
  • Ad-hoc roles - On top of the above mentioned roles I also spent time implementing initiatives such as matching candidates with there perfect role and vice versa as well as adding roles on to the site for recruiters who were short on time.
