• Transportation model problem which deals with how the network should be laid out and how the demand and supply of different sku’s should happen between plants, RDC’s and depots during a particular block of days. The solution was researched, designed and coded by me. This first stage of optimisation was followed by next stage of optimisation where we succeeded in finding the best selection of vehicles from a set of available vehicles for particular lanes. These two solutions exist independent of each other and can be used and sold separately.

• Designed and developed vehicle scheduling algorithm and load distribution framework. The algorithm developed is comprehensive in the sense that it schedules pick and drop smoothly taking into considerations various constraints like max
• capacity, fixed time windows, route optimisation for single pick multiple drop points as
• well as multiple pick and multi drop points in the Indian context. A hybrid approach of using genetic algorithms, clark and wright and simulated annealing was employed.
