Dragin

President & CEO

Dec 2021Present · 4 yrs 5 mos

  • Dragin.io is an AI/ML first approach to automating business processing and data analytics. Our clients are in the MCA, Equipment Financing, Banking, and LOC industries. If you have a messy inbox flooded with applications, well...you shouldn't. Dragin will fully process each deal in a matter of seconds.
  • My work at Dragin evolves with the business every few months due to our explosive growth.
  • 2024-2025: I will be focusing more on brand awareness, marketing, and critical business relationships.
  • 2023-2024: My sales efforts started paying dividends! As of writing this, we have more active trials for Dragin than ever. Growth has exploded to a point I can no longer sustain. I hired a head of sales and we're looking for an onboarding specialist to make his job easier.
  • 2022-2023: As our team grew, I first shifted to a project manager role, and then focused more on public speaking events, and started selling the platform.
  • 2021-2022: Dragin is formed. I was essentially the lead developer. My primary tasks were refactoring the codebase, hiring new development talent, building out the database from scratch, and managing AWS.

  • This was my favorite corporate job. I am a series 7 certified securities lending sales/trader/strat at the best bank in the world. My primary role was to make the desk more automated, smoother, and improve the reporting to clients.
  • 2019-2021 was all about data engineering. Building tables, views, SPs, and tons of other back-end processes that just make every run. These processes made the reports I built earlier run quicker, smoother, and have much more scalability.
  • 2018-2019 my job revolved around designing and automating Excel/VBA/SQL reports that go out to our hedge fund clients.

Multiple private schools

Mathematics, Science, and English Teacher

Sep 2006Jul 2011 · 4 yrs 10 mos · Brooklyn, New York, United States · On-site

  • I worked as a school teacher at a variety of schools in Queens and Brooklyn, with grades ranging from 5th through 12th, and covering a wide range of regents.
  • My favorite memory of these roles was when I was teaching Algebra to ninth-grade private school students who nearly all failed their eighth grade math classes. I had to start with the absolute basics; adding decimals and basic fractions. We literally started with fourth grade math topics!
  • I had to get really creative agenda-wise, but in the end I got every student passionate about math and willing to push themselves to succeed. By the end of the year they were all performing above expectations; only one student failed the math regent that year!!
