Naivedya Jain — Product Manager
Most enterprise AI fails the moment real decisions depend on it. I spend my time figuring out why—and building systems that don’t. At Walmart, I’ve worked on two problems that taught me what production reliability actually means. The first was about making AI accurate enough that executives would trust it with business decisions worth millions. We got to 99.99% accuracy across 150+ alerts by rethinking the architecture: let AI do what it’s good at (understanding context), use deterministic systems for facts, catch outliers before they reach anyone. It worked. $180M impact. The second was harder: predicting not when shipments arrive, but when products are actually ready to sell. Sounds simple until you’re stitching transit data with warehouse operations across thousands of locations. We beat industry standard accuracy by 12 percentage points. $140M in inventory optimization. Both started small, both scaled across the enterprise. Before this, I built products at Paytm (payments, 100M+ users) and IndMoney (lending, 0-to-1 to $50M). Different domains, same challenge: how do you build something that works when it really matters? What I’ve learned: The best product problems live between “impressive demo” and “system someone trusts with their business.” That gap is where I do my best work. 11 years. Fintech, retail, AI. Building things that scale.
