The Global Goals Run is an annual event organized by AIESEC to promote the Sustainable Development Goals. It brings together individuals to run, walk for a specific cause related to one of the SDGs. The event fosters social and environmental awareness, encourages active citizenship, and inspires action towards creating a better future for everyone.
As the Core Committee President (CCP) for the Global Goals Run, my role involves overseeing and leading the planning and execution of the event. I work closely with a team of dedicated individuals to ensure that the event is successful in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and achieving our objectives.
My responsibilities include managing the overall event budget, coordinating with stakeholders and partners, planning and executing marketing and public relations strategies, overseeing the recruitment and management of the event team, and ensuring the delegate experience is exceptional.
In addition, as the CCP, I am responsible for ensuring that the event aligns with AIESEC's values and mission. I work towards creating a sense of community and encouraging active citizenship amongst participants. I also strive to inspire and empower individuals to take action towards creating a sustainable future.
