• TRAFFIC SIGN DETECTION AND RECOGNITION:
• Used two different approaches for Cautionary traffic sign detection and recognition :
• 1. Traditional Image Processing and Machine Learning
• Used color segmentation(cautionary traffic signs have red color boundary) for finding ROIs and used bounding box and convex hull properties to narrow down the possible ROIs.
• Used SVM, PCA, HOG features for traffic sign classification on segmented ROIs.
• 2. Trained a convnet SSD_Mobilenet_V1 (TensorFlow model zoo) for traffic sign detection and recognition.

• Citylytics is an AI based startup that works on geospatial data to draw out insights usefull for business intelligence. As an intern i worked on data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis and statistical model fitting using python, geopy, sklearn, R Studio, clustering and QGIS.
