About

With an education in computer science I began my journey as a software engineer, where I was mostly skilled in .NET technologies and web programming. Despite my other commitments, I joined Schneider Electric DMS because I simply love the idea behind the vision, mission and the product - we need to overcome a very challenging future and build a better smart grid worldwide! When I realized that moving existing software products to the cloud also requires organizational and business model changes along with the technology migration, I moved to the product management sector to help in the smooth transition from turn-key solutions to cloud based SaaS. Most obstacles in our industry came from security challenges which led me to establish my career in cybersecurity with the aim to improve security posture throughout the product and organization. I would love to tell you more about what we do, but that wouldn’t be wise from security perspective. I used my creativity to become a research professional, focused on Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity, defending the PhD thesis in September, 2019. As an Assistant Professor in the Higher Education industry, what drives me is the feeling of having sparked the student's interest. Specialties: Cybersecurity, migration to cloud, microservices, consultancy, teaching, research Technologies: Microsoft stack, Windows Azure, .NET and C#, .NET MVC Web framework
