• Helped agoda with pull supply systems supplementing the inventory / availability / pricing there by increasing booking.

• Served the backend team which serves as a single point of contact for all the FE. This layer orchestrates data from several downstream micro services which handles availability, pricing, sort, ranking.

• Worked with TRACKING SERVICE team in Ola Cabs, developing application which served as a single source of truth for position/status of all cabs at any given point of time. This is the most downstream system in OLA and used by most of the realtime systems that needs cab info. Handled the load of 350k - 450k requests/min.
• Instrumental in clustering the elasticsearch infrastructure used by tracking service. The new Infrastrucure proposed after comparing several benchmark, brought down read latencies by 35%. Also significantly improved the stability.
• Took complete ownership of rewriting a module of tracking service, which listened to the events from the upstream systems. This enabled the system to support more versatile queries and also created a data lake of all events. Added TTL on each device based on various constraints.
• Part of a 3 member team which wrote a application from scratch, handling consistent realtime dispatch of cab status to significant stake holders.
• Worked on multiple proof of concepts aimed to rearchitect the system by replacing radial queries in elasticsearch. Notable one in which evaluated Cell ID based range queries using Google S2 library. Developed the POC in GoLang (GRPC serialization) harnessing the power of bidirectional streaming.
