About

Hi, I'm a product person who ships things that people use and pay for. Mostly because I try to think of what people wants and how to sell that in product. • Scaled a product from zero to 10M+ monthly active users. • Drove double digit revenue growth by monetization strategies across multiple companies (E-commerce, SaaS) • Built and launched 17 products (SaaS, stand alone apps, mobile games) from ground up. Some failed, some not :) • Improved user retention for a 35 million monthly active users music streaming service and in e-commerce • Ex-dev, so hands-on with SQL, APIs, A/B experiments and statistics, and AI/ML stuff. Currently experimenting and building AI image and text analysis tools for myself just to see what is possible.I use AI agents daily for many tasks, from tidying up tax documents to data mining. And I fully believe that this is a new level of digital literacy. I try to go deeper — deploying and fine-tuning models, understanding best practices in MLOps, cost optimization, observability, and how a business can actually get value from integrating AI into its products. Not just, "let's add AI because everyone is talking about it." If you remember, a few years ago there was a trend of gamification, when companies added achievements and other vanity features just because everyone else was doing it. I dislike this kind of mentality and always try to understand, validate, and measure value (preferably in euros) before committing to building anything pavelegorkin@gmail.com

Welltory - a stress management & lifestyle analytics app. loved by 2.5m+ people.

Growth | Monetization PM

Sep 2021Apr 2022 · 7 mos

  • Wellness tech app with millions of users focused on stress management and HRV analytics. I owned the subscription model — everything monetization.
  • Ran continuous tariff experiments, rebuilt onboarding flows, implemented offer personalization based on user behavior. Worked directly with data — analyzed what converts, what doesn't, why people churn. Implemented UI best practices across subscription touchpoints. The boring work that actually moves metrics.
  • Welltory went on to hit Deloitte Fast 500 twice and 70% YoY revenue growth

Noomeera

Chief Product Officer — geosocial network

Jan 2021Jul 2021 · 6 mos · Moscow, Moscow City, Russia

  • Geosocial network (9M users in Russia/CIS, Skolkovo resident) attempting international expansion pivot. Brought in to lead the product strategy shift from regional player to global platform.
  • Led product vision for the rebranding, managed team of PMs, technical writers, and designers. Defined what stays, what goes, what needs complete rework. Short stint — joined for the pivot, left when it became clear the business model wouldn't work internationally. Sometimes the best product decision is realizing when the fundamentals don't add up.

Yosin studio

Co-Founder, Business development

Feb 2018Apr 2019 · 1 yr 2 mos

  • Game art outsourcing studio. Created 2D/3D assets and promotional materials for gaming clients globally.
  • We've built the business side from scratch — found clients, negotiated contracts, managed delivery pipelines. Set up internal workflows that let a small team deliver large volumes of assets without burning out. The hard part wasn't making pretty pictures, it was making them on time and on budget.
  • Worked with gaming studios across mobile, PC, and console. Established processes for art direction, feedback loops, and scope management that actually worked (most don't).
  • Left after realizing I was more interested in building products than running a service business.
