About

My Ikigai (a Japanese term meaning 'a reason to be alive') is to help HR Leaders initiate Howard Gardening in their organisations. Howard Gardening is a term I coined to honour Dr. Howard Gardner and his theory of multiple intelligences. Howard Gardening is a powerful framework for mobilising the 'collective intelligence' of employee communities to make the world a better place. The beauty of the framework lies in its simplicity and intuition—you might not even need me! 😃 Step 1 – Create a ‘multiple intelligences’ database of your employees Step 2 – Nudge people to form communities and thrive Step 3 – Inspire them to craft unforgettable stories of serving the world through the power of their communities. But if you ever find yourself stuck, don’t hesitate to connect with me. I’ve authored a whole book on the exciting possibilities resulting in brand value enhancement, employee engagement and employee retention (and innovative CSR); And have practiced Howard Gardening myself as head of employee engagement. Looking forward to reading your awesome stories. I am tempted to talk about two of my ex-colleagues to kickstart your creativity machine. The first one is Kersey Engineer who has been an amazing systems guy. He is also passionate about medical science. If we get many Kerseys together, they could become an amazing 'Second opinion' centre for your employees. The second one is Kaushik Muhury a senior software guy and also an amazing Bollywood dancer. The old age home dwellers would love to dance with the Kaushiks of the world and be happy.

Mr ten's gym

Founder

May 2024 – Present · 2 yrs 1 mo · Pune, Maharashtra, India · Remote

  • Mr Ten’s Gym is inspired by my book, Mr Ten’s Commandments.
  • It’s a blueprint for daily success and happiness — not just theory, but a method I’ve practiced for the past few years. At its core is one simple idea: turn big goals into small, consistent ‘micro-wins’ and celebrate each one. This is how you build real well-being — one focused step at a time.
  • Here's a short writeup to explain Mr Ten's Gym --> https://tenmg.blogspot.com/2025/07/mr-tens-gym.html

Who cares ...

WHO Cares ...

Apr 2020 – Jul 2025 · 5 yrs 3 mos · Pune, Maharashtra, India

  • WHO (The World Health Organization) cares for our well-being.
  • Around three years ago, we stumbled upon a list of ten subjects identified by WHO for school children. WHO's objective was to strengthen the children's skills to face the daily challenges of the world.
  • To our surprise, all these topics were as relevant to the adults as the kids across the globe.
  • We looked for a good repository of study material on these topics. It was scattered across the internet, so we decided to collate the essence of these in a single place.
  • Our effort involved a study of around 250 articles, videos, speeches, books... exciting moments!!
  • We published the first LinkedIn article on 10 April 2020 as part of a 66-day challenge where we published daily posts about what we studied.
  • The result of our study is available to you here --> https://tenmg.blogspot.com/2023/06/study-material-21st-century-skills.html
  • Hope our efforts help you in your journey.
  • We are grateful to all those experts who shared their wisdom.
  • What next? We don't know. Tell us.

  • Volunteered for a candidate for general assembly. It was my first experience of doing door-to-door campaigning and participating in rallies etc.
  • Volunteered for NHRD, a national level network of HR professionals. Got to know closely how these organisations work. They work only because a few feel strongly about making a change for their brethren. Most of the managing committee members are senior Heads of HR. In spite of their hectic schedule, they are able to give that extra hour (mostly from their personal time).for all the HR professionals. If only all of us could take at least an hour a month to support them!!
