I’ve always been more curious than clever. I ask “why” more than “how.” I look for what’s behind the answer — not just the answer itself. By profession, I recruit. By instinct, I teach. And in between, I write — not to sound wise, but to make someone reading feel a little less alone. You won’t find advice here wrapped in quotes. You’ll find lived truths. Stories from calls where I heard someone crack — not just crack the code. Lessons from candidates who never had the perfect résumé, but always had something rare: self-awareness. I come from a time when we waited for one movie on Doordarshan, and one letter reply in the post. Maybe that’s why I still value stillness over noise. Maybe that’s why I still think the best candidates are the ones who tell me why they built something — not just what they used. I’ve written 200+ answers on Quora about work, hiring, growth — none of them planned, all of them lived. Not to go viral. To leave a quiet mark. To remind someone reading: you’re not alone in this. If there’s a thread tying it all together, it’s this: I don’t chase noise. I notice people. And sometimes, that matters more than everything listed on a résumé.
