• As Lead Engineer for the Users Platform at HighLevel, I owned the design, reliability, and evolution of the systems responsible for users, authentication and authorization, permissions, identity providers (IdP), login flows, notifications, and auditing across the platform.
• I led architecture and execution across core identity and trust domains, including user lifecycle management, roles and permissions, secure login and session handling, third-party IdP integrations, audit trails, and notification delivery. These systems formed the backbone for access control, security, and compliance across all HighLevel products.
• I drove secure-by-default engineering practices, strengthening authentication flows, permission boundaries, and auditability while balancing usability and platform scale. I partnered closely with security, infrastructure, and product teams to harden critical paths, reduce user-impacting incidents, and improve visibility into sensitive flows such as login failures, access issues, and unexpected logouts.
• Beyond feature delivery, I set technical standards for one of the most risk-sensitive areas of the platform, introduced deeper observability and structured logging, reviewed system designs and PRs, mentored engineers, and acted as the escalation point for identity, access, and notification-related production issues. The result was a more resilient, transparent, and scalable user platform that enabled rapid product development without compromising security or reliability.

• As Lead Engineer for the Integrations team at HighLevel, I owned the technical strategy and execution for our third-party ecosystem, powering seamless connectivity across CRM, marketing, messaging, and lead-management platforms.
• I led the design and delivery of scalable, secure integrations across partners such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Zapier, and custom webhooks—enabling millions of automation workflows for agencies and businesses. I drove architecture decisions across authentication, rate-limiting, webhooks, event pipelines, and data synchronization, balancing partner constraints with internal platform scale.
• Beyond shipping features, I set engineering standards for reliability, observability, and security—introducing structured logging, incident-safe release practices, and defensive integration patterns to reduce partner-side breakages and unexpected user impact. I collaborated closely with product, security, and support teams to translate ambiguous partner APIs into stable, user-friendly capabilities.
• I mentored engineers, reviewed designs and PRs, unblocked complex cross-team dependencies, and acted as the escalation point for high-risk integrations and production incidents. Net result: faster partner launches, fewer integration regressions, and a more resilient integrations platform that scales with HighLevel’s growth.
