• Build and maintain state of art Search Platform (infra + capabilities) that powers fast and reliable Search-as-a-Service to all Adobe products (with millions of MAU working on billions of digital assets).
• Keep adding more data & intelligence to the platform to support new emerging usecases.

• provide Search as a Service to all Adobe desktop/mobile apps and web UIs to search and discover over 100B+ of digital assets in near real time.
• Manage a distributed, multi-tenant, highly available and performant Search Platform consisting of Real time Data ingestion pipelines, Message queues, NoSql DBs, Search indexes, REST APIs for search, discovery, recommendation and other ML/NLP based services
• Manage a high performing team of 15+ super senior, senior and junior developers that has grown 4X since inception. Taking care of hiring, onboarding and fitting talent to meet the short term and long term goals.
• Manage Cross-discipline, cross-geo and cross-team collaboration
• Engage with clients and PMs to determine requirements and iterate on existing features
• Impact:
• Deliver deep content search on 600M+ of pdf/documents for Document Cloud products (Acrobat, Reader, Scan) meeting strict SLAs.
• 2 US Patents granted in the field of NLP, Search & Discovery.

• Responsibilities:
• Part of the Search & Discovery Founding Lead @ Adobe tasked with building a unified search experience across all adobe products. Role included:
• Architecting the indexing pipeline to ingest real time Big Data
• A single search box to power unified search across all verticals
• ML/NLP for query understanding, query expansion, ranking and more
• Impact:
• built Unified and Intelligent Search experience to serve across all Adobe products and web UIs.

• Adobe TechSummit 2017 (San Jose, CA) : Represented my team at the prestigious tech summit (Feb 5th - 8th). Also participated at Tech Fair to demonstrate TaaS (Text Analytics as a Serivce)
• Adobe TechSummit 2015 (San Francisco, CA) : Represented my team at the prestigious tech summit (Feb 23rd - 26th). Also participated at Tech Fair to demonstrate our cutting edge Text Analytics/NLP Technologies.

• Responsibilities :
• Research extensively in Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics domain(tokenizer,stemmer,NER,co-reference resolution, POS tagger,Stop word removal, TDF, IDF, etc.) and build solutions to improve product intelligence.
• Impact:
• Developed a dynamic general ontology (in EN, DE, JA and ZH) from open source data( like wikipedia). The solution is scalable to get ontologies for specific domains as well (like consumer electronics, retail, fashion, etc.)
• Developed an NER tagger which can tag not only person, place and organisation but also part of names, medicines, work(like books, magazines), programming languages, etc.
• Developed Document categorisation solution. Takes document as an input and calculates sores/weights for various extracted keywords and finds out the perfect category for the document from ontology tree.

• Presented my paper and implementation on dynamic Ontology Creation and Document Categorization at Adobe Tech Summit 2013, San Jose, CA, USA.
• Presented my two implementations related to Multilingual NERs and Ontology Creations at IUC 37 (Internationalization and Unicode Conference), Santa Clara, CA, USA.
• Attended Language Summit (closed summit, invitees only) at RedHat on personal invitation of Alolita Sharma(then wikipedia director), Pune in Nov 2013.
