  • After event management, this was my second exposure, and I had an amazing time at Bangalore's Rashi Eco-Tourism. Our director, Fr. Saleen KJ, oversaw our team of ten or eleven people. I was chosen to be in the group because I have a passion for the hotel industry. My main responsibilities were leading the team, coming up with fresh concepts, carrying them out, and coming up with creative ways to improve the 5-star property's allure.
  • We visited Guhantara, Shilhandara, Jhari, and Siri Nature Roost, a total of four resorts. Every one of these resorts has a certain charm and worth of its own. Thankfully, the content production objective proved to be a great success. This experience taught me priceless insights in .. I obtained practical experience in work delegation, effective communication, and team coordination with a diverse group of people. I also discovered how critical it is to be flexible and make decisions quickly, particularly in a fast-paced, dynamic setting like the hospitality sector.
  • In addition, this experience helped me better grasp the needs and preferences of eco-tourist customers. Through active visitor engagement and observation of their interactions with the surroundings, I was able to obtain important insights that have subsequently informed my approach to hospitality administration.

  • Working as an event manager for a New Year's party under the supervision of Fr. Saleen KJ and my batchmates, including senior batchmates, was my first and most memorable experience in event management. The event was held at River Roost, a resort in Mangalore, and we were tasked with arranging it.
  • To begin with, the resort was genuinely exceptional; it offered a tranquil natural setting away from the bustle of the city, fostering inner serenity. I gained significant knowledge about event planning and the associated difficulties from working on this project.
  • It was difficult for me to complete this project—my first big endeavor—without any prior expertise. One of my duties was to send out invitations via and taking care of the advertising part, which included going to different places to hand out event flyers. This turned out to be one of the hardest assignments, showing me directly how hard it is to manage client contacts while working in the field. It was a fantastic opportunity to gain practical marketing knowledge.
  • One of my favourite memories is from this event, where I not only accepted the challenge of meeting deadlines but also felt the satisfaction of completing the task at hand.
