• Project 1: Customization and Validation of Reliance Android IP-Set Top Box.
• Description- Responsible to develop, design and customize the embedded software stacks of IP-STB (Bootloaders, Kernel, Rootfs, Appfs) . Customization of android framework on linux kernel 2.6.32 on arm cortex A-9 to reduce the boot time of Application file system. Currently implementing MPEG- DASH support on STB by integrating DASH plugins in gstreamer Framework.
• Project 2: Design and Validate UVC module of Quanta Webcam in Android IP – Set Top Box.
• Description: Validate frame rate , gop , bitrate , saturation , No of I frame, Hue ,Contrast by calling api's of V4L2 low level driver SDK in linux.
• Project -3 Transcoding and Packaging videos into multiple profiles received from C-Band Antennas .
• Description- Responsible for transcode the videos into multiple profiles for Adaptive Bit Rate and package into HLS, MSS and DASH .
• Project 4: Exploring different Network Technologies ,Video codecs and Video delivery System.
• Explore RF4CE Network Technology for Remote Control of IP- Set Top Box.
• Explore DLNA for video session transfer.
