• Alphasense is a financial and corporate research platform for executives, investment analysts, and researchers that offers them the insights, speed, and confidence they need to make informed strategic decisions so they can outperform the market and gain a competitive edge.
• Implemented OCR using tesseract for financial documents, allowing for full-text search.
• Created a document similarity detection system using pre-trained models, which achieved a recall and precision of 85% and 96% respectively.
• Trained a BERT model to detect the category of various Presentations. Achieved an F1 score of 0.93.
• Built a generic scraper package that can scrape any website using Python, Beautiful Soup, and Requests.
• Developed and maintained metrics, alerting, and monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager for more than 300 processes and scripts. • Built content team dashboard using React.js and REST API(s). Resulted in 35% increase in productivity.

• Built dashboards to track key indicators for the World’s Largest e-health Programme, which collected and reported data on over 100 million children in India.
• Optimised Postgres(citusdb) database for storing more than 100 million rows by utilising the distributed nature of the CitusDB.
• Formulated SQL queries to pull data from a database for the Ministry of Women and Child Development(India).
• Implemented an ETL pipeline using Apache Airflow and Python. As a result, the time to process the data was reduced from 12 hours down to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
