  • The project comprised of genesys, which was the world leader for voice applications and was the pioneer for VXML based IVR. Beyond traditional IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems, Genesys inbound voice software used touchtone, speech recognition and video capabilities to communicate with callers. GVP exceled at standalone IVR, but its real power was realized with its integration with the rest of the Genesys suite. Common development, administration, reporting and hardware mean a lower total cost of ownership. GVP was part of the Genesys Hosted contact centre as well as part of the Alcatel-Lucent’s application enablement – context Solution. GVP 8.0 offered the best of the breed features of Voice Genie Platform 7.x and Genesys voice Platform 7.x.
