• Headed the Product, Operations and Analytics vertical consisting of 150+ members for Amazon’s middle mile road transportation (ATS) in India. Spearheaded over 30 cross functional programs delivering 13.5 M USD in actual savings. Launched Amazon Freight business for India which targets on providing FTL and LTL capacity for any business to ship freight directly to Amazon’s Fulfillment centers or other non-Amazon warehouses with projected savings of 100 M USD by 2024.
• Central Operations vertical leveraged real time technologies to track disruption for road transportation service and managed several defect reduction programs to deliver 97%+ Ontime performance in 21-22 (Best across Amazon Geos) with Delivery misses tagged to delays in surface transportation to less than 7 bps in 2022 from 22 bps in 2020. Designed and launched 4 India-first products to optimise costing and provide reliability for unplanned freight loads (lower by 8%) which were further adopted by sister geographies of EU and US Transportation verticals. Managed 3-year operating plan (OP) cycles for the vertical with 20% HC (Headcount) reduction on YoY.

• Designed and Launched Biker Rescue Program which leverages Amazon’s last mile Biker capacity (rather than deploying FTL) to rescue stem connections for delayed trucks. This was scaled to Pan-India network which

• Launched CNG transportation service in the belt of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh which

• customer delivery Speed (aka C2P-Click to Promise) by 1.3 Days.
• Launched VAS (Value added service) program for ATS carriers by engaging aggregated buying orders with
• OEMs (TATA, Eicher, Mahindra, Volvo) enabling small/micro trucking businesses to provide competitive rates and capacity reliability. This led to 3% lower overall network cost and scale from previous vendor base of 30 carriers to 102 carriers in 2019.
