• Heading The Write Order vertical in Pratilipi, providing the physical publishing arm to the startup. Building a team from scratch to revolutionise the guided publication industry through technology. Integrating multiple proprietary tools built to change the face of the publication industry.
• Having founded the startup back in 2017, we have now joined hands with pratilipi to scale our business. I have been solely responsible for overall build and growth of the entire publication business. Role includes devising different departments, setting them up, allotting capable people to handle them, defining operations, solidifying marketing, lead acquisition, conversion and over all business ROI at core. Functioning as a full fledged entrepreneur without restrictions to scale the vertical. The entire process from the legal, finance, operations, execution is over-watched by me. The setup was complete in early 2021 and now my entire focus is on scaling, growth and capturing as much market share as we can.

• Founded a society in my college under the technology and business incubator of our college to help promote entrepreneurship, foster ideas, help in execution for all the students in the college. We organised four large events in the first year of our operations itself and we the best performing entrepreneurship society in terms of organised event, foot-fall and overall impact. brought in state led initiatives to our college through this entity and maintained relations with multiple colleges in state led development efforts of entrepreneurship in the state of Odisha.

• Short stint wherein, I was heading the cell and all its operations before starting another society for a more dynamic approach which involved the government and our college in a much broader spectrum.

• Lead the PCR team of E-Cell for a year wherein I saw overall development of all the juniors, their progress along with mentoring them. Was responsible for full-scale public image of the cell in the college and outside, interacted and networked with top companies like HDFC, Axis, Havells, Swiggy, Redbull and secured funds to execute great scale events the college had never seen earlier. Apart from sponsorship/corporate handling, I was also looking after marketing efforts both online and offline. Another major part was securing all major speakers for our events which included eminent personalities like Prabhu Chawla, Anil Bhasin etc.

• I have been working in KIIT ECELL as a Jr. Executive since February 2018 and have been a part of the core team which conducted ICamp 2018 and ESUMMIT 2018 for KIIT ECELL.

• Was the first SBM for the state of Odisha. Helped setup initial network of Redbull in odisha, by building a team, getting permissions from colleges, executing events, seeding the initial stage for Redbull to enter the Odisha market.

• In the initial years I had setup the foundation for the startup to function with chief focus being on reducing the publication timeline and making the process super fast with lossless quality of the end product (usually books in our case). Defined a proper product market fit, setup of USPs to demarcate the startup from competitors, made the venture profitable from the first month itself and self sustained for the next three years.

• Started as a small initiative in 2nd year of engineering after being fed up of the slow publication process in India, I decided to bridge the gap. The core aim was to allow writers to publish their books without interference of literary agents/or any other mediator. Since then, I have built the startup and raised two rounds of funds eventually getting acqui-hired by Pratilipi, a giant in the content-tech space in India.
